Rachel Manship is an avid traveller and plans to pursue a career in travel writing once she has completed her university studies in July, 2008. Armed with a degree in creative writing, she plans to spend the next few years exploring the wonders of the earth that she has spent her whole life reading about and writing about her discoveries. Failing that, she will be quite content to become the next Beatrix Potter and write reams of children's stories with the help of her minor in children's literature. She loves writing short stories, book reviews and flash fiction and is slowly working on a memoir about growing up in post-apartheid South Africa. Her favourite places in the world are the pink chocolate shop in Edinburgh, her old church in South Africa and her comfy, cosy bedroom, which is by far the funkiest bachelorette pad in Perth.
