I would like to thank you for your editor report on my first draft story, the report was very comprehensive and thorough. In the report you put some excellent and useful suggestions, on how I may progress forward to publishing my story. ...

I have no hesitation in recommending Aneeta's services to anyone who like myself wants to tell a story, but is unsure how to get there.

ARTICLES FOR STORYTELLERS

Three Powerful Tips on Selecting a Book Topic that Sells

The topic of your book or eBook counts-big time. Which would you buy-The Art of Kissing or The Art of Courtship? The kissing book sold over 60,500 while the other sold only 17,500 copies. Before you choose your topic pay attention to your audience. What do they want and need? What will they be willing to pay for your information?

Born a storyteller - interview with Susi Wolf

Excerpts ...

Aneeta: On your website, http://www.wolfsongcreative.com, you give a very good answer to the question, “When did you become a storyteller?” For the benefit of my readers, I would like you to give me your answer to this question as well, please.

Susi: I’m smiling, Aneeta. When I am asked, “When did you become a storyteller?” I reply, “When I was born.” It is a gift. It is a need. And it is innate to the very makeup of being a human. And it is in all of us. I firmly believe everyone—men, women, children, and selected wolves—are storytellers.

44 reasons - interview with Victoria Gregor

Excerpts ...

Aneeta: How did you first become interested in storytelling?

Victoria: When I was growing up, I visited my grandmother Victoria often.  At bedtime she would always dress my siblings and me in my grandfather’s tee shirts, and would fix a plate of Ritz crackers with peanut butter or cream cheese for us to nibble on while she told us stories about her growing up or would turn all the lights out and tell us ghost stories.  She actually believed in ghosts, so she really had our attention.  My grandfather would sneak outside and would make spooky sounds and make scratching or tapping sounds on the walls.  Even though we always knew it was he, it still gives us goose bumps and makes our spines tingle.

INFOSYNTHESIS

I Can and I Will (2): A story of ability and willpower

Can you always do what you are willing to do? That was the question we tried to answer in the first part of this story. For me, years ago, I could not. But now I can safely say and demonstrate that, “I Can and I Will.”

JACK'S FABLES

Metta Follicle & Little Al

“They all know me,” shouted Metta to no-one in particular, “And if they don’t, it’s only a matter of time.”

“You’re the best, and you’re always right. It’s important they know that too. It will save them a lot of wasted effort. Indeed once they know you know it all, and are superior to them in every way, they can fight amongst themselves to find their own place below you in the food chain.”

STORY ASIA

Piece of Gold

Once there was a holy man who sat with his begging bowl in hand at the entrance to a village. A peasant traveling down the road into the village stopped to stare at the beggar.  “Aren’t you tired of being poor?” the peasant asked the holy man.

ZODIAC'S CHILDREN

Taurus' Child

Excerpts ...

Whenever I think of Taurus, I think of Ferdinand the Bull.  He prefers to sit peacefully in a beautiful field of clover happily munching away the hours.  However, wave that red flag and he is charging with horns down at full speed like a locomotive.  It is just as difficult to stop him once he has begun charging as it is to get him up out of the clover to begin with.  Such is the case with your Taurus child.

1000 REVIEWS

Ibu Maluku: The Story of Jeanne van Diejen

... Many books about the East are centred around the countries where either the British or French were colonial rulers – India, Singapore, Sri Lanka, to name a few. It is rare to read a story that is based in an Asian country where the Dutch were colonial rulers. So, I was intrigued by this book the moment I laid eyes on it. The cover image, The Bay of Ternate by Antoine Payen, gives that visual impression of what it must have been like when Jeanne first arrived in Ternate.

Love Cats? Love History?

How about supporting the Egyptian Mau Rescue Organization (EMRO) and do both? Our animal charity supports the protection and adoption of ancient native Egyptian Mau cats from Egypt. These living antiquities have existed from the Pharonic times and these previously worshipped cats are now routinely poisoned by the Egyptian governement. EMRO is trying to help them. If you wish to learn more or participate, please check out our current GiveMeaning Project at http://www.givemeaning.com/project/egyptianmau where we are trying to fundraise $5,000 before April 27, 2008, (which has now been extended to 24th of July 2008) or check out our website at www.emaurescue.org. We offer opportunities for donation, adoption, sponsorship, pet escort, volunteering and more. Email Founder Gloria Lauris for more information or ideas how to help: info@emaurescue.org.
