Sneak Peek

Ever wonder what thoughts run through your florists’ mind when you walk-in to buy some flowers or place an order. Here’s a sneak peek:

To the shy guy who looks like he literally had to have a stiff shot to build-up enough courage to walk into the store: Don’t worry. You are not alone and we’ve seen many just like you. There’s no merit on our part to laugh at you. Actually, its endearing and we genuinely want to help you make an impression with the person you’re buying the blooms for.

To the loud lady who declares we overcharge and she could buy the same flowers for a lot cheaper at the super market: With all due respect Madam, of course you can, but then you’d also need to buy different fillers, foliage and go home and arrange it yourself.

To the guys who think it’s funny to send dead flowers to their friend to signify the end of his days as a bachelor: You can’t be surprised that we refuse. Did you really think we’d agree to do that? Our name and brand goes onto that box. There is something called 'Reputation'.

To the bride who decides to book us a year ahead: Thank you and we look forward to working with you and making your big day extra special. But could you please make a final decision on your colour theme before you call on us. It’s frustrating to put together ideas for you, only to go back to the drawing board 6 months later because you now you absolutely love a particular shade of red instead of that moss green that was all you could talk about.

To the mother-of-the-bride who keeps second guessing her daughter and the florists on the job: While we appreciate that you’re only trying to help your daughter by making sure she gets the best, Madam so are we. Weddings are an important part of our portfolio and an endorsement from a bride who’s satisfied with our service is worth its weight in gold.

To the retired gentlemen who stops in once a week to buy a single stalk of flower for his wife: Bless your heart, sir. Florists can be a jaded lot. When we see you do this week after week, hope indeed springs eternal.
