European Paying Markets

 

The New Welsh Review is a literary magazine which accepts: Features where most articles are commissioned but if you have an idea email a brief synopsis (300 words maximum) to the editor.  Payment ranges from £100 to £150 per article upon publication. Short stories and poems should be sent to the editor with a covering letter and SSAE or international money order. Material will not be returned unless it is accompanied by sufficient postage. E-mail submissions are not accepted without the prior permission of the editor. Payment ranges from £60 to £75 for a short story and £25 for each poem and is paid on publication. Storie is an Italian literary publication that accepts high quality fiction and poetry. This magazine is looking for unpublished work only and it is advisable to read a copy of the mag first before submitting. Your story should not exceed 1,500 words. Ginniderra Press Australia was set up in 1996 to provide opportunities for new and emerging authors as well as for authors writing in unfashionable genres or on unpopular subjects. Publisher of poetry, fiction, and non-fiction. Pays 12.5% royalties. Ginninderra Press is no longer accepting manuscripts from writers who reside outside Australia.

 

Poetry manuscripts should combine emotional impact with arresting imagery. Social awareness is also looked on favourably. Previous publication is not essential.  Fiction manuscripts between 10,000 and 20,000 words are especially welcome. They should be socially aware, combining emotional impact with convincing storytelling. Previous publication is not essential.
